Housed in an original 1895 homestead just 16 km from the city centre you will find this historic museum. The museum displays the history of dynamite manufacturing in South Africa, its technological and scientific advancements, artefacts and displays on the famous figures who shaped South Africa’s mining industry.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 08h00 – 12h00.

Special openings can be arranged for groups by prior arrangement.
